Chakras are part of the subtle body, not the physical body, and as such are the meeting points of the subtle (non-physical) energy channels called nadiis.

Nadiis are channels in the subtle body through which the life force (prana) (non-physical) or vital energy (non-physical) moves

"The awareness that an unseen energy flows through all living things and directly affects the quality of a person's health has been part of the wisdom of many cultures since ancient times.

This life force energy goes by many names: qi in China, ki in Japan, and prana in India. The ancient Hawaiians called it ti or ki. It has also been called orgone energy and elan vital, and science refers to it as biofield energy."

"When your life energy is low, it is more difficult to deal with stress; you may not sleep well, and you're more susceptible to illness.

When your life energy is strong, you feel strong, can more easily deal with stress and are less likely to get sick. Reiki is a technique that increases a person's supply of life energy."

ABOUT CHAKRA SESSIONS

WHAT ARE CHAKRAS

We offer our services to individuals, groups and also
to our animal friends.

Every living being has energy centers called Chakras. The word 'Chakra' is Sanskrit, and signifies a wheel. Those people who are able to physically see them would describe them as spinning wheels of light and of various colors.

These "wheels" or energy centers need to be kept healthy in order for our overall health to be maintained in a good way. When the chakras become clogged with heavy or negative energy, the spin of their "wheels" slows and can begin to spin backwards.

This is what many believe causes our energy level to decrease and can cause illness to manifest in the physical body. So, our belief is that if you take care of your outside energy and keep it in balance, the physical body reflects that.

This applies to our emotional bodies as well. A broken heart or great sadness can affect our heart chakra. There are seven major chakras, the heart being the 4th one.

The chakras are an etheric part of our bodies. They basically assist in distributing life force energy through our physical body, along the subtle body (or soul) of a person.
